Sheltering and Re-Homing Asistance
C.A.R.E. Provides temporary sheltering assistance and re-homing services for homeless animals. As part of the adoption program animals may be transferred to other nokill shelters within our network, placed in foster homes or remain in our shelter until a forever home is located. C.A.R.E. works closely with local animal control agencies
as well as other animal welfare organizations and traditional shelters in order to maximize resources and help the greatest number of pets.
A Sanctuary for Seniors
Located in Rochester, MA, C.A.R.E. operates a small retirement home for senior pets located in an 18th century farmhouse overlooking picturesque grounds. These lucky pets live out their golden years in comfort. The program is available to individuals who are interested in making long-term financial plans for the care of their pets.
